OVERVIEW

Asymmetry, disconnections & creative techniques all combine to make commercial styles.

Open to existing hairdressers and stylists. An experienced educator will guide you through your creation on a training head and then assist you in making a more 'High Street’ creative cut. Suitable for hairdressers who are looking to refine and develop skills & that want to think creatively

You will complete your theory in your own time and pace via an online learning portal. Your practical will be completed either face to face with an educator at a venue or Online via a LIVE webinar hosted with one of our educators.

• Demonstration from the educator

• Hands on practical workshop on training head (1 Hair Cut) Step by Step with the educator

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME TO MY COURSE?

*A 16-inch training head – Live models are not accepted

*Your current prefered scissors you are comfortable using combs, dryer, and basic styling kit

*Please bring 1 x electronic devices (ipad/laptop & smartphone) fully charged with data to be able to access your online portal to get your E-Certificate.

*Please note live models are not accepted on this course.

*This course is open to hairdressers that have a NVQ /VRQ level 2 or equivalent, those that have completed the short hair cutting course or those with 1 years cutting experience who want to progress their skills in short hair cuts.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE ONLINE PRACTICAL TRAINING

*Students are required to have access to their own professional tool kit and purchase any additional items required kit list can be downloaded here. Many of the kit items would be standard items in a hair stylists kit. Please ensure you have all essential items prior course day.

*You will require a laptop or tablet with a camera to access the webinar and we would recommend an additional device (smartphone) to enable ease of access to the learning portal during the webinar.

*Please ensure you have suitable work area for the course including a work surface to secure the training head to or a free standing tripod.

*A good stable internet connection is also required.

*A week before the webinar you will receive access to the online learning portal via email, this must be completed before your live practical session, we estimate this will take up to 3 hours dependent on your pace.

*Please note live models are not accepted on this course.

Prior to your practical learning with your educator, you will receive access to an online learning portal to complete the following:

• Advanced Cutting methodology, angles and terminology, razor cutting techniques.

• Client consultation, adaptations to styles to suite
