SHORT HAIR CUTTING WORKSHOP
OVERVIEW
This one-day hands on workshop will develop your short hair cutting skills. Get to grips with lady’s crops and textured short styles. With interactive demonstrations followed by a hands-on practical workshop where you will work to practice your skills with the assistance of an experienced educator.
You will complete your theory in your own time and pace via an online learning portal. Your practical will be completed face to face with an educator at a training venue

Your INSTORE practical face to face training will cover:
• Short hair methodology
• Demonstration from the educator
• Hands on practical workshop on training head (1 Hair Cut) Step by Step with the educator
• Techniques included:
- scissor over comb
- short graduation
- texturising
WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE INSTORE PRACTICAL TRAINING
* Your working scissors that you are comfortable using
*Thinning Scissors & Razor with guard (Shaper).
*Basic hairdressing kit (hairdryer, brushes, combs, sectioning clips)
*A 16-inch training head or a model that would like a 'cropped' hairstyle (they must be aged 18+ at 11.30am or 1pm depending on your venue)
*Please bring 1 x electronic devices (ipad/laptop & smartphone) fully charged with data to be able to access your online portal to get your E-Certificate.
*This course is open to hairdressers that have a NVQ /VRQ level 2 or equivalent, or those with 1 years cutting experience who want to progress their skills in very short hair cuts.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE ONLINE PRACTICAL TRAINING
*Students are required to have access to their own professional tool kit and purchase any additional items required kit list can be downloaded here. Many of the kit items would be standard items in a hairstylists kit. Please ensure you have all essential items prior course day.
*A 16-inch training head or a model that would like a 'cropped' hairstyle (they must be aged 18+ at 11.00 am)
* Your working scissors that you are comfortable using
*Thinning Scissors & Razor with guard (Shaper).
*Basic hairdressing kit (hairdryer, brushes, combs, sectioning clips)
*You will require a laptop or tablet with a camera to access the webinar and we would recommend an additional device (smartphone) to enable ease of access to the learning portal during the webinar.
*Please ensure you have suitable work area for the course including a work surface to secure the training head to or a free standing tripod.
*A good stable internet connection is also required
*A week before the webinar you will receive access to the online learning portal via email, this must be completed before your live practical session, we estimate this will take up to 2 hours dependent on your pace.
*This course is open to hairdressers that have a NVQ /VRQ level 2 or equivalent, or those with 1 years cutting experience who want to progress their skills in very short hair cuts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
•Students must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
•You will receive a Welcome Email from Training Solutions to explain your training journey within 48 hours of purchasing your training.
• You will continue to have access to the online learning portal for 1 year.
•Upon completion you will receive an accredited E-certificate.
•4 CPD hours & 4 CPD points
